Follett’s New Leaf in Learning Conference is an educational technology conference for K-12 Education Professionals.  The conference blends the best of technology, Follett Software product training, and learning and teaching practices into one powerhouse event.

The New Leaf Conference will be held March 21-23 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel.  The goal of this year’s learning event  is to provide conference attendees with take away ideas they can implement when they return to  their classrooms and libraries after the conference.

Learn and network with infamous industry professionals.  Kevin Honeycutt, technology integration specialist in Hutchinson, Kansas will take the lead as the pre-opening speaker.  Ian Jukes, teacher, administrator, writer, consultant, and university instructor will be our Opening Keynote speaker.  We are equally honored to have Sarah Brown Wessling, 2010 National Teacher of Year as our Closing Keynote Speaker. 

The New Leaf in Learning Conference provides 40 sessions on your most requested topics, including mobile and digital learning, funding, social media, eBooks, product based learning and more.  Our five tracks, Administration and Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, Digital Innovations and Technologies, Next Generation Librarian, and Follett Solutions, provide a host of learning opportunities. 

We are also offering an opportunity to dig into training for your most requested topics for your Follett Products.  Pre-Conference training will be held on Wednesday March 21st.

Networking opportunities will allow you to connect with peers, industry experts, and district leaders who share best practices and innovative ideas.  This year we are bringing back one of the conference’s most popular features, the Birds of a Feather groups.  Share your passion about Follett products with others while you meet and dialog with other attendees on topics of mutual interest in a small group setting.  The Birds of a Feather groups are scheduled Friday, March 23 during breakfast.
